Asparagus Mushroom Soup

Time: 15 minutes prep + 30 minutes cooking
Serves: 4–6

1/2 c finely diced onion sauté until golden cook 2 minutes cook until tender gradually add, stirring constantly add garnish
6 Tbsp butter
3 Tbsp flour
1/2 lb mushrooms, sliced
4 c chicken stock bring to a simmer cook until tender
1/2 lb asparagus, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
1 c evaporated milk
1/4 tsp garlic salt
