Yields 24 bundles.
- 4 cans whole green beans (not cut)
- 1 lb bacon
- 3/4 stick margarine
- 1 cup brown sugar
- garlic salt
Roll 16 green beans in 1/2 slice of bacon. Secure with a toothpick.
Melt butter. Stir in sugar, garlic salt, and pepper. Heat together until blended. Pour over bundles. Cover with foil.
Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes, then remove foil and bake 15 more minutes.
